Stomach Cancer

Stomach cancer is also known as gastric cancer. It can be developed in any part of the stomach and it can spread to other organs of the body especially in esophagus and small intestine. Stomach cancer mostly affects older people and two-third of the people under the age of 65. Stomach cancer is the growth of cancer cells on lining of the stomach cells. If the cancer is detected at the early stage it can be treated. We can see the symptoms for stomach cancer only at the advanced stage and during this stage it might have been spread to the other parts. By changing our lifestyle we can reduce the development of stomach cancer. There are two factors that involves in the development of stomach cancer, they are infection of helicobacter pylori bacteria and irregular diet such as having high salty food, pickled food and the food preserved in refrigerator.

The body is made up of many cells and these cells are divided to give rise to a new cell and the old cell dies. Instead of dieing if the cell remains alive then it will be formed as a tumor cell. From these tumor cells the cancer cells are spread to the other part of the body, but the non-cancerous cell is also called as tumors but it does not spread. Even though the stomach cancer is declined dramatically in the America and other European states, it still remains as a serious problem in the other countries. It is the leading cause for death. Over one million of people lead to death in a year due to this stomach cancer.
